Installation

The ASPEX PSEM is designed for minimal and inexpensive maintenance. The beam path components are disposable and can be easily replaced by the owner. No cleaning or adjustment is required. (This includes both emitter capsule and column liner.) The result is lower maintenance costs and less downtime.

• The system has a clean, "turbo-pumped" vacuum
• Only one installed utility is required (115Vac/15Amp). No compressed air, cooling water, or special grounding is needed.
• The footprint of an ASPEX PSEM/EDX unit is considerably smaller than a laboratory SEM, and can easily fit in a small office space.
• The ASPEX PSEM is rugged and easily movable to other locations. .
