Upgrades
Our commitment
to our customers includes offerings designed to both extend the
useful life of your investment in ASPEX products and to improve
the performance of these products. Current upgrades address these
goals.
PSEM II Upgrade
A PSEM II upgrade allows you to extend the useful life of your PSEM
75 and to take advantage of our Windows®-based Perception platform. When you upgrade your PSEM 75, the internal computer is
enhanced and a second PC with two 17" monitors is added to
the system. All PSEM 75 operating console software is replaced with
ASPEX's new Perception operating console. When upgrading your
PSEM console, you can also upgrade any automation software (GSR/AFA)
you may be running.
GEN
II SED Upgrade
A GEN II SED upgrade will improve the image quality achievable with
any member of the PSEM family. This upgrade is standard on all ASPEX
PSEM models. The GEN II SED is fifty times brighter than previous
SEDs, has a greatly improved signal-to-noise ratio, and has improved
imaging at higher levels of magnification.
Gen II SED Upgrade (PDF)
Digital EDX
ASPEX now offers digital EDX standard on all new PSEM models. Previous
modes can be upgraded from analog to digital. If speed of analysis
is important to you, you should consider upgrading to our new digital
EDX system.
